The competition was for a new multidisciplinary hall and swimming pool extension for the American International School of Abuja. The scaled roof allows for shading of the new amenities and as it heats in the warm climate it allows for natural airflow to ventilate the space. The new structure includes a multi-disciplinary hall to be used for sports events, a theatre, a gym, classrooms, and a swimming pool. The design attempts to open itself to be used by the community, becoming a public place.
